My beloved Wolverines bit the big one, continuing an ignominious history of insufferable conquest by USC. Bainbridge applauds, which is just revolting. Cheering against the Commune of Ann Arbor is understandable, but cheering for the University of Spoiled Children (AKA The High School) is beyond appalling.

I too hate the BCS, and I must say that I despise Lloyd Carr. But I'm not sure that the coaching was to blame, yesterday. Braylon Edwards dropped a sure touchdown on the first offensive series for Michigan, and it went downhill from there. The O-line gave up at least six sacks after only surrendering 15 all season, and the run game was terrible. The second U of M touchdown was scored in garbage time, and mattered not a whit. Let us hope and pray that Ole Miss acquits itself much better today than Michigan did yesterday.
